Continuing. Located on the South end of North Beach (listed also as Section 1 of St. Catherine's Island). Yesterday, the flock was photographed in sections and each photo reviewed to come up with the size of the flock. This number was reconfirmed today by counting the individuals on the beach. The plumage of most of the flock indicated non-breeding/immature birds, although a couple of them had more of the "cinnamon tone" of Marbled Godwits. Larger than the Hudsonian Godwit (and also no white patch on the rumps, a distinctive feature of Hudsonian Godwit).
