Two associating closely together, with one giving standard smack calls and the other singing; photos TBA. Excluded Thick-billed due to bill profile (not as short, stubby, and thick-based) and vocalizations, with the full song being given in the final portion of the recording. Song appears to be more in line with those given by more westerly populations of Slate-colored given the distinctive dipping introductory note and longer, more fluid rising and descending notes after (more interior Slate-coloreds seem to give a more emphatic, quick introductory note and skip to the buzzes and trills, much like Thick-billed). Didn’t check if they were altivagans types but they could be.
