Lifer. Across from the beach. Would have liked a better look. I also made a sound recording on Merlin which I somehow didn't save. This picture is terrible but at least you can see a tiny pop of yellow above the bill. I believe the buffy color on the tail and wings is because it's the Gulf Coast variation. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think this could be Saltmarsh Sparrow because it's too early and it hasn't been seen at this location in 10 years.
