***First ebird record for Gaines County! Quite a bit north of their usual range, though their actual range limits in Texas may be biased by low birder presence or lack of publicly accessible habitat in many places. Saw a pair of thrashers perch up in the salt-cedars with VERY long tails and very decurved bills. No patterning on underparts, no white tail tips, and distinctly lighter throat patch.
