Lifer. I'm counting this even though I didn't see it. Habitat and season were correct for Gilded, plus Merlin ID'd the sound. This was at the Riparian Overlook, and it was a sea of Saguaros. I spent a good amount of time trying to see the bird that was calling, but I just couldn't find it. It was also getting hot and late, and I needed to move on. Would love to have seen it, but this will have to do. Please let me know if this ID is not supported by enough evidence.
