Physical characteristics: Body size 95-100 cm. Sturdy beak slightly curved downwards yellowish, feathers white, flight feathers and tail black, Br: Red facial skin, dark red legs, NonBr: dark facial skin, gray legs, Re: Dull brown head and neck, grayish brown upper part, white tusks. Behavior: Gathers in dry rice fields with other types of water birds such as; Woolly-necked stork, Little Egret and Cattle egret.
