観察結果の詳細

The bird was hunting in the grass. I was confused by the coloration for a while. I think this is a young bird, probably a male, that is beginning to get the dark feathers on the body that are normally associated with adults. I have included several photos that show the dark blotch of what I guess are new feathers.
