Single individual singing from tree. Area known to support significant migratory (presumed breeding) population from July-August (see S197757991 dated 2024-07-16). Region comprised of rocky dry-scrub forest characterised by the formation of ephemeral ponds during the southwest monsoon (see Checklist Media: Habitat). Early arrival a possible response to this year's significantly heavier winter rainfall and earlier onset monsoon.
