Continuing bird found by Darrell Hance yesterday. Heard its explosive rolling song 3-4 times. "chippy chipper, chippy chipper." There were long intervals of a minute or so between the songs. When it stopped singing, I continued on the trail. When I got back to my car, I went back to the place where I heard it and proceeded to hear it again twice. It was unlike any other bird song. Will try to post an audio clip.
