High pitched alternating call coming from tree tops in wet mixed hardwood forest . When I heard I thought Blackpoll and Merlin identified several times but I couldn’t see the bird. Will check recording and run through bird net to check later. Call sounded good for blackpoll based on experience. Birdnet seems fairly confident calling the high pitched alternating calls Blackpoll (70-90 percent).
