Dark head, patterned undersides, falcon wing shape. Flew in low over La Brea Tar Pits, small and flapping more than a Cooper's Hawk, for example. He flew east and landed for about 5-7 minutes on the NE corner of the Verifi building at Wilshire & Masselin before taking off again to the NW. He re turned to his perch under the I in Verifi not long after. Once before I have heard a Peregrine in the neighborhood. First time seeing one. Photos (low light, distant)
