観察結果の詳細

Unbeknownst to me at the time that I saw it, this bird was first found by Mike Moccio a couple days ago. Initially, I thought it was a glossy ibis but the face had a large amount of white in lieu of the "pale lines on dark face" as per Sibley. The large amount of white suggested white-faced ibis, but the iris was dark and not red. A possible hybrid but who knows? Suffice to say it is a rarity here. Did not have my camera with me so I took some poor digiscope photos.
