Seen walking along the trail with tail cocked. Viewed as it continued along the trail ahead of me, then perching on a log and then on a low branch. Photographed. Large sparrow, gray head and cheek patch with white spot above bill and white stripe on throat below cheek patch, white eye ring, faint white tail edges, dark breast spot and streaks on sides.
