観察結果の詳細

First seen flapping wings aggressively while walking around on the road. At first I took the bird to be either a NPOW or NSWO. Bird seemed drenched by the cold, extremely wet weather, and fled away from me indoors to the inside of an open building. Upon further inspection of posture, facial features, and behavior, the bird was identified (by myself and others) as a Burrowing Owl. Pictures will be included. I believe this may be the first, or one of the first, eBird BUOW sightings in Yosemite.
