Along waterfront at North end of fields and across RR tracks. Continuing individual frequenting the area this winter. Approximately two thirds the size of the nearby Canada Geese. Dark overall with a tawny neck with a duskier head. Ample silvery-white edges to the wing coverts when folded and a thin white line visible just above the water. Orange feet. Bill shoehorn-shaped and tapering at tip, dark with vibrant orange spot across the tip. Thicker neck and head proportions as compared to Canadas, likely exacerbated by the finer bill. Took off with Canadas and flew North at 13:04.
