Photographed. Though it’s a common bird elsewhere in the country, I was initially going to ignore it, but then I realized we don’t often see it here. A single bird was perched on the wire when I spotted it. I stopped to take a photo, and it stayed still for a moment before diving into the paddy field. I quickly followed and managed to capture 4-5 more shots before it flew back to the wire and took off immediately.
