観察結果の詳細

The Sanderlings were first noticed flying as a flock among the high waves where they eventually landed by the shore where the waves crashed. They then foraged in the surf as the waves receded continuously. The number seen seemed very high but I repeatedly recounted to make sure. There were truly that many in the flock. The Sanderlings were in their white non-breeding plumage.
