Continuing from Dec. 31 on Saratoga Lake but miss IDed for 2 weeks. Refound 2 days ago on the Hudson River in Fort Miller. Alyssa Suder and I refound the goose in a field along Rt 32 where she picked it out in 5 minutes. Large goose with dark brown head fading lighter down long necked, longer than expected for Tundra. Long swan-like bill. Dark base, dark tipped, with orange in middle. Pattern matches the Québec bird. Horizontal white flank line. Orange legs. Phs. M.obs.
