Great lifer! We saw a larger woodcreeper fairly close and thought it was a Strong-billed at first because of the bolder face pattern and fairly large bill, but then realized the face pattern wasn't contrasty enough and the bill wasn't big enough, and then we saw the bands on the flanks and underparts and realized we were looking at this guy! Super cool unique for woodcreeper combo of streaks AND bars. Watched it swoop from tree to tree, giving great looks over an extended period of time, managed some media as well. Spot-throated ssp here as opposed to the amazon black-banded ssp.
