Large dark raptor without upswept wings. Typical hunting/foraging/roaming flight of this species, flying low over Wotonga Basin and treetops, causing much commotion eg from magpies and corellas. White face noticeable at correct angle of view, large 'fingered' wings with pale window, straight clipped trailing edge of tail, buoyant easy flight with few wingbeats.
