観察結果の詳細

Found lying on the beach as low tide approached. I initially thought this was a thick-billed murre but now on second glance it seems to have a longer bill and white on the head that more resembles a common murre. I posted this on Reddit r/whatsthisbird and a pelagic bird researcher confirmed that it is indeed a common murre. I'm keeping this as a common murre unless I hear otherwise.
