I saw a sunbird that looks like Van Hasselt's Sunbird. It has red breast that is smaller that Van Hasselt's Sunbird. In Merlin and field guide book Birds of the Indonesian Archipelago by James Eaton et al., the spread of Van Hasselt's Sunbird does not reach Sulawesi. This sunbird that I saw is in mountainous area of Minahasa highland whereas for the Van Hasselt's Sunbird, according to Merlin, its natural habitat is lowland forest.
