!! Holy mackerel! Finally a really good vagrant passerine in the riparian here. A particularly bright/obvious individual: very dark blue hood contrasting sharply with gleaming pearly white throat, bright yellow flanks, bold white tertial edgings amd wingbars. Head-mantle contrast was sharp, with mantle feathers deep green and head dark blue. As is typical I’ve found (i believe of hy birds?), a couple green feathers get into the nape and a couple dark blue feathers get into the upper back, but i didnt see any intermediate-colored feathers.
