Large, pink and teal-blue bee-eater, with a long tail and facial mask. I was driving past and noticed a large bee-eater perched in the shade of a tree next to the road. It was much larger than the Swallow-tailed Bee-eaters I’ve been seeing here, so I backed up to investigate. I was taking a sound recording with my phone when a 2nd one joined it and they took flight.
