観察結果の詳細

We saw one male and two female type birds well. Heard first, giving the distinct 'jip, jip, jip' calls. Then located near the top of the pecan trees along the edge of Campus Court, closer to EN 16th and across from the campus police station. Males were red, females olive green in color. The distinct bill was visible, with the upper mandible curved across the lower. I managed to get a better recording of the birds giving their call than I did yesterday. I suspect they are Type 2, Ponderosa birds but need to confirm.
