Flew into my scope view as I was scanning the edge of the lake. I followed it in the scope as it hunted over the grassy lake edge. Size and shape similar to a Barn Owl but patterned light brown over its whole body. Upper wing pattern with dark patches at the wrists and dark at the ends of the primaries.
