Rare/Uncommon. This is only the 2nd time I've seen one in CP. It was reported earlier in the day by others but hung around long enough that I was able to take the subway up to see it. Cool grayish-buffy/brown coloring with very distinct gray collar over shoulders. Pale, unmarked breast and belly. Pale crown stripe on dark brown crown, whitish line over the eyes, light brown cheek patch, and brown wings with wing bars. Short pale pinkish bill with dark on top and at tip. Tail seemed longer relative to nearby Chipping Sparrow. Fed in the grass and was very skittish. A Swamp Sparrow showed up and "charged" it several times, causing it to flutter up and move. Occasionally, it sat on the low wire fence along the grass. Photos attached.
