Continuing bird. Photos. Thanks to the discoverer, subsequent searchers, rediscoverer, WhatsApp reporters, and those who helped others (like me) get on the bird later. As to bird details, I had an early view of the black mask, with strong white above and below it, and the streaking on the underparts of the bird. Subsequently, I got a photo of the upper parts and side of the head. Some key features from the photo are the unstreaked back, the mask extending well below the eye, the short bill, and the tail with little or no rufous showing. The Variegated Flycatcher does not have a mask that extends well below the eye, has clear rufous on the tail, and a streaked back. (To be sure, its back is only faintly streaked, but that's where the submitted photo of the unstreaked back of the Sylvan Rodriguez bird comes into play.)
