Never seen, but heard well from distances as close as 30 feet. Bird was singing in a brushy creek corridor (in which a Northern Waterthrush was also singing this morning and during this observation). Song a series of high ratcheting chips followed by several lower-pitched notes. The song was a very similar version to that of the bird that I heard and saw here last week, and in fact it could be the same bird. I used Merlin to make the recording and, interestingly, despite being much closer to the bird on this observation compared with the one last week, Merlin never detected Nashville Warbler (whereas last week it readily "heard" the Nashville high in the canopy despite many other singing birds). Please see attached recordings.
