female that flew in calling, perched, called intermittently, then called in flight again at the end; giving chweek series (Pieplow E p 227) at the start, something I don't recall recording before, additional calls after 0:30, 0:53, 1:06, 1:15, 1:21, 1:29, 1:36, 1:45, 2:09, 2:15 (the last one or two in flight); calls are of the Chewt type (but no other bird was visible);

[1100m] female seen at Hackberry Ponds, perched; calling regularly, perched and in flight; visited three of the ponds, not seen to forage, seemed to be looking for another Green Kingfisher; not seen there on second visit (though area not searched), not seen at any other places the rest of the day; good views, female with two irregular green breast bands; recorded; recording can be downloaded from Xeno-canto XC894294;
