Heard one individual singing from a bit east of parking area, as I started along the trail, early on. Then heard another individual singing (heard from fork in side-trails near "Upland Meadow" sign). Heard another individual singing from near first Indigo Bunting. Then heard two more individuals making loud chattering calls (one carrying insects, presumably to bring to its young), along start of second side-trail, in NE section. Then heard two more individuals singing from woods south of pond, as I heard another to the east. Soon heard another (near second group of HAWOs). Then heard three more individuals (including one I watched fly over path in front of me as another person approached from the south), in SE section. Heard a few more individuals singing in south central section. Heard two more individuals from bench in honor of George Poch, in SW section. Heard a few more individuals in west and NW sections (hearing snd seeing one chattering loudly right next to path, and then seeing a second adult with it), almost back to starting point. ... (Posted audio recordings of chattering calls, [including COYE song].) ... (Posted a later audio recording of one individual singing, [including NOCA songs; and BLJA calls [adult with at least two fledglings].) ... (Later made an audio recording of one individual making constant, loud chattering calls from close range, in NW section, to post eventually.)
