観察結果の詳細

Found standing absolutely still at the edge of a small pond, in the shade of a few mangrove trees, and not foraging. May have been waiting for prey to swim or crawl by. All white with a yellow bill somewhat smudged with gray. The neck was noticeable thicker than that of other herons and egrets, or at least appeared to be so. Plumage all white and legs yellow. Photos are attached below. A most surprising find for me!
