Continuing bird. Never called. Many photos taken. Prolonged views with John Parmeter much further toward the bridge than original pin/where he previously saw it this AM. Eventually spotted on opposite side of river then moved to low dense thicket, trees approximately here: (33.1461559, -107.2080294) Moving often, mostly short flights. At times providing very good close views. My impression was a medium-sized Myiarchus with fairly bright lemon yellow on the belly, brown cheek, pale throat & upper breast area, noted a slight crested look at times throughout observation, rufous under tail noted in good light but essentially no rufous noted on dorsum of tail when seen by both observers very close in good light. Addendum 12/9: Review of photos reveal undertail pattern consistent with NUFL, with blunt/unclear end to dark coloration and beginning of rufous and lacking the strong contrast/hook tail pattern of most ATFLs. Photos also show edges of primaries rufous fading to lemon color & bright white at the secondary edges. Bird heard by birders today, audio recordings obtained of quick calls matching NUFL.
