Adult picked out with scope amongst 600+ Little Black Cormorants at -17.615195,133.468052. Seen well in scope 3 times and record shots taken of it feeding. Massive when compared to Little Blacks with large angular head, big bill with hooked tip and large yellow gular pouch with white area bordering it. Great Cormorant is a scarce/rare bird in the NT and has been searched for extensively this year at likely locations, this my 1st record for the year so a very exciting find.
