This bird landed right next to a Double-crested Cormorant. It was all dark on both the breast and back with a smaller bill than the two Double-crested Cormorants next to it. The overall size was also much smaller. We saw both species spread their wings as they were perched on dead sticks in the water. This bird had much narrower wings than the Double-crested Cormorants. We were viewing through a scope but took some distant pictures through the scope. The bare skin was not orange as in the Double-crested Cormorants.
