A dream came through; Andean Laniisoma, an extremely rare and secretive species! I discovered the bird yesterday late afternoon by ear. Only brief views but today successfully relocated and observed extensively. A cracking adult male singing from dense understory in mature foothill forest at c. 1100m elevation at the far northern tip of the Cordillera del Cutucu. Photographed and sound-recorded.
