Rad. Two adult males for sure, with slightly different songs. One, found by Cochrane/Stephenson today, close to the creek crossing on the Dipsea Trail near Muir Woods overflow parking lot. The other, found by B. Dudek yesterday, 0.2 miles up the Dipsea Trail from the stream crossing. At one point, while standing here (37.8905545, -122.5706907), both songs were audible. Super cool. The bird at the stream crossing near the parking lot was easier to see. With enough time, I was able to get good looks and some photos. The bird went silent for a period of time, only to pop up in song low in a bramble, only a few feet behind me. Perhaps it was bathing or drinking from the creek? It then came out for stunning views feet away, but the second I raised my camera it flew. Either way, fun to know there are two present.
