Adult male singing within 20 feet of the my car near the single restroom below the two water tanks in the Vollmer Peak Trail parking lot at 8:20 AM. Do not get a visual of him. Come back to car later, the HOWA was singing in the same location, then it flew to the vegetated area between the upper and lower parking lot. There I got brief views of black cap and throat, yellow body before he flew off. Song recording attached.
