I don't have a lot of experience with singing Wilson's Warblers, I've record one other individual years ago which was singing the expected chchchchch... song. I had listened to plenty of Wilson's Warbler songs from various sources and thought I was prepared then today happened. I ran across two birds in a thicket along the rail trail (right turn from the parking area just before the picnic tables). First thoughts were Nashville or Tennessee Warblers so I started recording the interaction. A yellow bird pops up 20 feet away and continues singing, I was surprised to see it was a Wilson's Warbler. I stayed with the singing bird for fifteen minutes at close range, the song never changed. Definitely not what I was expecting from a Wilson's Warbler!
