Continuing male. Beautiful teal. Spotted on the south embankment of the south pond. Purplish brown head with the distinctive flared eyebrow, brown breast not as chestnut as MALL with fine black vermiculations. Silver flanks with bright wing coverts. Seemed to be very friendly with the GWTE he was hanging out with and would follow them down into the pond or around on the bank when they walked around. Thought I had him several times when it was just a m BWTE preening with his head at a weird angle. Scope necessary. If he is not visible he’s prolly swimming in the pond out of view.
