The same juvenile we had watched earlier in Newlyn Harbour flew out to the boat, obviously attracted by the commotion made by the other feeding gulls. A truly impressive gull in terms of size, appearing heavier even than the great black-backed gulls. Strangely was apparently uninterested in bread, maybe this bird is not conditioned to being fed by people(?) and yet it was still very territorial and aggressive towards other gulls.
