As reported earlier. Flying between different parts of the walking path in between the wetlands. Grey/olive in color on top and white underparts. Hint of yellow on flanks. Slight yellow in supercilium and vent area noticed during photo review. Light orange base to lower bill. Flighty disposition hence observed at some distance. Did not allow close approach, but seemed happy to return to a high traffic area of the park (cyclists, dog walkers, families with young children) in the central north wetlands area between the 3 wooden bridges. Undulating flight 2-4m above vegetation, circling behind whomsoever approached. In flight, white outer tail feathers clearly seen and tzreep flight calls heard and recorded. Mostly on the ground, only once seen perched in a bush for less than a minute. Foraged at grass edge of paths along with other local birds. At times, landed in reeds and out of sight (once chased by a New Holland Honeyeater). Tail-bobbing and upright stance like a Pipit, but clearly smaller sized.
