Seen w/CAGO in Veteran's Park on grass off of Lake Michigan. I am wondering if this is a ROGO x SNGO hybrid? Because of email complications I am not connected to wisbird at this time; so I am consulting w/an experienced birder another way. My impression is that this bird is too small for SNGO - also, bill seems not correct color - bill seems small to me but ..- bill shape not good for ROGO, & not small enough but, ... grin patch seems underwhelming but head shape obviously not good for ROGO. Maybe it's just me, not sure.
