Extremely distinct, very long neck seen outstretched for a few moments, white wing patches on the top of it's wings. The tail was much longer and larger than a cormorant has, the wings were long, and held similar to a soaring Bald eagle. It had a light neck and head, with a long bill, though I could not really tell what color the bill was. When I came around a corner of the creek, it flushed from a branch that was maybe 20 foot above the water, it was a tree that had washed up on the dam below the 254 bridge. On the other side of the dam there was no water running, it was about 6 inches deep, clear, and with a rock bottom, there were several catfish and carp stuck right below it in that small pool which I assume the Anhinga was feeding on. I know the photo is basically worthless, but I decided to upload it anyway. It was just a few minutes after getting on the water and my camera lens was still fogged up terribly, the humidity was awful when we first got on the water, you could literally see the moisture in the air.
