Empid active in pine-tops, occasionally dropping to eye level on slope above campground. Somewhat nondescript olive drab plumage w/ teardrop eye-ring and bright orange-ish lower mandible. Heard calling often... "pwip... pwid-ip" with an occasional "pEEer". Rarity seen by many.
