Young female Cape May Warbler at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California

Continuing warbler in it's favorite Fig tree at (33.9685445, -118.4176337) overall very dull gray warbler with only a splash of yellow behind the cheeks and near the vent. Mostly light throat giving way to dense streaking on the breast and flanks. Gray cap and eyeline with fairly blunt/stout bill. Was surprised to find the bird spending most of its time in the lower branches of the tree (unlike others who reported it staying quite high) occasionally gave high squeaky chip notes.
