Ten ducks in open unfrozen area of reservoir, trying to avoid the eagles on the edge of the ice. I had the impression they were too short to be Mallards, but I am not familiar with spotting waterfowl, let alone anything but Mallards and Canadian Geese. Photo of ducks attached. Good luck making any species IDs!
