Yellow-billed Loon, a new species for me. This bird was discovered by Ryan Dudragne a while ago and is hanging around from the dam to the confluence with the spillway. Note the black on top of bill only extends to 1/2 bill length, pale face and neck, white stripes on the back, and the hump is in the middle of the back. This photo was taken from the confluence with the spillway. below the dam, Dennison Provincial Park, Saskatchewan, Canada. 28 November 2021

Continuing bird. We watched it as it moved from the area where the spillway and power house channels move up to the power house where we watched it for a long period as it foraged below the power house. It was often out of sight but we had many looks at it. Later we had our best look at it from the road south of the spillway as it was where the channels merge and light was good from where we sat. Though we were never close to it through the scope we could see that the back was light brown and barred with peak in the middle. It had a pale bill with some dark area on top of the culmen but at least half totally pale Neck and head were pale with dark auricular patch..
