Continuing. Small, short tailed warbler actively foraging in cottonwoods and a small pine towards the end of our observation. Foraging behavior rather active, with short flights and lots of branch-jumping happening in a span of a few minutes. Tail was often held slightly cocked upwards and occasionally flicked in a diagonal movement. Plumage a rather pleasing set of yellows and peaches, with the yellow being most concentrated around the head and the upper sides of the breast, eventually fading slightly towards the flanks and gradually mixing with a peachy-tan color. This peach color also extended onto some of the undertail coverts. Undertail pattern ever-so slightly similar to a Palm Warbler, with broad spatulate-shaped white markings being squarely cut off 1/3 the way down the tail. Photos
