NOTES: (Breeding Stat: territorial; Cover Den: med; Bias: Roll-off) BNA: Continuous "churring calls" or possibly "Kyik" calls (if the nestlings are near fledging) of the nestlings can be heard. Nestling calls may also be known as "Chirp calls". Drumming is also heard. CZ 24/02/2004 [This recording contains primarily "Chirp" Calls of the nestlings, but there are also three Drums (0:52, 1:10, 1:38), said to be given by the female, and a single "kyik" Call Note, possibly given by the male (3:27). What are probably "Loud Chirp" Calls are given by the nestlings during a feeding pass at 3:31-3:34, and I suspect the series at 2:59-3:03 is a Rattle-Snarl given by the adult. Quality unchanged (2) - CAM - 26 April 2005]. Number of individuals=AM1AF1NU1+;. Other Behaviors: Depart, Bill Drumming, Arrive, Care For Young, Beg, Establish Parent Young Contact, Social Context: Family. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest.
